The Materials Processing Institute works with the global steel and materials industries, to carry out research and innovation in Advanced Materials, Low Carbon Energy and The Circular Economy.

Brief: To facilitate a 1-day design sprint and consultationA full day workshop was arranged with the MPI as part of a series or interventions designed to add value to the organization at a senior management level. The workshop involved an introduction to the core themes of design thinking and then a sprint based around a series of questions that had been clarified with the MPI.

Impact: The MPI were extremely happy with the outcomes of the sprint in the form of viable product and service prototypes. In addition, the feedback around the design process itself was extremely positive.
